Lux Group

Lux Group (formerly AussieCommerce) was one of Australia's biggest e-commerce companies — 350+ employees, 10 million members. They owned Luxury Escapes, brandsExclusive, Cudo, and a bunch of other brands. BRW named them the Fastest Growing Company in Australia back in 2013.

I worked there as a Senior Software Engineer in Python/Django and PHP. My main job was building and maintaining the Warehouse & Logistics system and the e-commerce back-end. It was a great place to see how large-scale e-commerce operations work up close.
